Following are travel and accommodatinos info for visiting The Homesteader in Concord, Mass.

Training is a two-day affair, generally from 9:30 am - 4 pm (with the ability to stay a little later if there are extra questions, etc.). Dress is casual.

DIRECTIONS
Flying to Logan Airport is generally best. With the new Ted Williams Tunnel, it is a very easy 45-minute to one-hour drive to our office. >From Logan Airport, follow signs to the Ted William Tunnel or Route 90 West, and stay on Route 90 (The "Mass Pike") about 10-15 miles until you hit Route 95 (also known as Route 128). There is a $3 toll at the Tunnel and two tolls of about $1 each on Route 90.

Take 95 North about five exits to Route 2 West (toward Acton/Concord). Follow Route 2 West 5-10 miles. If you are staying at the recommended hotel, it will be on your right after you pass Route 62. If you are going directly to the office, take a left onto Route 62 west. The signage here may be a little tricky....when you see the sign for 62 East, get in the left-hand lane and take the next left and you will see the 62 West sign at the light.

When on Route 62 West, follow the road a few miles, through West Concord. In the center of West Concord, bear left at the light (the 99 restaurant will be in front of you.) Keep traveling on Route 62 West. You will pass a large skating rink on the right. When you see the sign for "Concord-Acton Squash Club" and 2352 Main St., take a right onto Knox Trail. We are the second building on the right (just after the Squash Club), on the first floor.

If you are going to the "recommended" hotel, do not take Route 62 but continue on Route 2 to the Best Western in Concord. It will be on the right-hand side of Route 2, next to "Papa Razzi" restaurant and before the Concord Rotary. (If you miss the hotel, continue on to the rotary, turn completely around to Route 2 East, and then take a left at the light when you see Papa Razzi restaurant on the left.)

ACCOMMODATIONS
There are many hotels 15-20 minutes away from the office, but not many closer. The closest and the one we generally recommend is the Best Western in Concord. It is right on Route 2. http://www.bestwestern.com/prop_22040 is the direct link to the Best Western page for this hotel. To get to the office from the hotel, Take Route 2 East towards Boston, but only go a short distance until you hit Route 62. Take a right onto 62 (heading West) and follow directions above.

CAR RENTAL/CAR SERVICE
Renting a car at the airport is often the easiest solution, but if you'd prefer a car service to pick you up, drive you to the office, and bring you back to Logan, we recommend the Lincoln Concord Coach Co., 18 Main St., Concord, MA. Their number is 1-800-559-9994. Tell them you are with "The Homesteader" as they are an advertiser!!

ALTERNATIVE AIRPORTS
There are other airports that are within driving distance. The Manchester NH airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Travel South on 93, then take 495 West towards Worcester, and then Route 2 East towards Boston. Providence, RI is also about 1 hour and 15 minutes distant. Take 95 North to 495 North, then Route 2 East towards Boston. Hartford, CT is about 1 hour 45 minutes away. Take 84 East to Route 90 East, then 495 North to Route 2 East towards Boston.

DRIVING FROM THE SOUTH (CT/NYC/NJ)
From NYC and South, take 95 North to New Haven, take 91 North to Hartford, take 84 East to The Mass Pike, Route 90, and take that east to Route 290/Worcester. Go through Worcester to the end of 290, and then take 495 North to Route 2 East to Boston. Travel a few miles on Route 2, past the "Concord rotary" and then take a right onto Route 62 West and follow the directions above.

DRIVING FROM THE WEST (New York State)
Take Route 90 East to Route 290 to Worcester. Go through Worcester to the end of 290, then take 495 North to Route 2 East to Boston. Travel a few miles on Route 2, past the "Concord rotary" and then take a right onto Route 62 West and follow the directions above.

DRIVING FROM THE NORTH (New Hampshire/Maine)
If traffic is heavy, you should take 95 South to 495 South. Go through Lawrence and Lowell towards Worcester. Just after Westford, take Route 2 East towards Boston. Travel about 5 miles to the Concord rotary and continue on until you see Route 62 West. Take a right onto 62 West and follow directions above.

If traffic is light, you can take 95 South all the way to Route 2, but now head West on Route 2, towards Concord/Acton/Fitchburg. Travel about 10 miles. You will pass Emerson Hospital on the left, and the next left is Route 62 West. Follow directions above.
